I'm thinking of starting a comics blog - what do you guys think?
It would be reviews (along the lines of the Favorite Panel Friday thing) and general comic book geekiness. This blog was always meant to be a what-the-hell-throw-in-the-kitchen-sink-too sort of thing put together by me and Lopez!, but somewhere along the way it got reeeeallly comics heavy. So I thought, why not do one of those while I'm at it?
That way, other interests like politics, pop culture and pictures from around town wouldn't get unfairly buried here at the Bean so much, and I could go koo-koo-bananas with the comics stuff on the other blog. I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't help me organize posts a little better, too.
And I've already got an awesome name picked out for it.
I know most of you don't comment often (or ever), but I'd like your opinion so try to muster the ganas, OK? That way I'll know and, of course, knowing is half the battle!

I think you damned well know what I think!!!! Lee says if you switch to Beta Blogger you can just copy your current blog in, then you could dump all but the FPFs out of the copied version, then BOOM! Comic blog is rolling!!!! Nice way to throw in the GI Joe animated series reference in! It isn't ganas you need, it is cajones señor, ca jon es, now grow em, grab em and do it! Do it! Do it! I know I comment TOO much, like a goddamn pestilence I am with the comments, but still., HAD to throw my dos centavos in. I will now leave with the sole last admonition: "nut up buddy, nut up, grab taht ALSAC and make it happen!!!!"

I still remember back in the day when I was a small child living in VNE, when we could only dream of someday having the means to have ganas.
All of that has changed now (three more payments and they're mine), so I say do it!

E: Exxxcellent. I might need to get with you to make sure I don't screw it up, but that would be great. Do you know if I still need to make the Nel ID a contributor? Probably, right?

I donnay think so, if all goes the way Lee's did. Now I will qualify that by saying so far Blogger will not let me do a conversion to Beta, I think conversions are by invite only at this point, so you may not get invited right away, but I can look at it with you and see if it is possible. When I initially wrote this post I had not yet tried to convert myself to Beta. I'm itching to do so, but it is not yet available to me :-( Lee totally converted Nervous Goat though, and I've seen talk on the Blogger Blog about doing a test version first as its own blog...
I like the idea. I may be the only one who likes it because I just want to read your political posts without having to skip the comics posts. I'm no fun.

Ha - just kidding! And thanks for the imput; I didn't think anyone was reading the political stuff.
Do it! And do it on Myspace so I can read it and not forget you exist. Your blog that is. You call the store too much to forget you yourself actually exist.
Seriously though, this place ain't good for conversations because of the stupid comment setup. You can't reply to people, just make more random comments.
But E already mentioned another place (shake fist). Me and Vinnie will just sign you up on MS as yourself.
